Quotes:"Beth's work got me thinking about my marriage and how it is compared to my children's marriages. I think that people expect more these days." Marriage Game Interviewee and exhibition visitor

"I enjoyed the interactive element of The Marriage Game. Playing the game and sitting in the living room. Its like art and reality mixed." Exhibition visitor

"This work came about as my marriage came to an end so it was peppered with my own feelings. Working with others on the project helped me come to terms with how I felt. It also allowed me to understand how those I interviewed viewed gender roles. Even more special was being able to show it all as a solo show in such a lovely gallery." Beth Barlow
