The images below show work in progress on three of my environmental projects; "Bird Life" "Show Your Working Outs" and "Rubbish Art". "Bird Life" (full installation) started 2020 to highlight the plight of sea life and capture single use plastic milk bottle waste as art.

"Bird Life" (detail) started in 2020 this piece used plastic milk bottle and plastic thread found next to a rain water gutter.

"Bird Life" ( oil painted version) started in 2020. Taken from photos of wildlife killed by plastic waste.

"Show Your Working Outs" started in 2021. A film inspired by a report by "Climate Cultures" and shown as part of Huddesfield Universities "Climate And Action" exhibition.

"Show Your Working Outs" The film aimed to merge visuals and sound which would appeal to some of the groups defined in the report.

"Show Your Working Outs" As film progressed it become more a sketch to help those of us trying to communicate a climate change message as we wonder why people are so attached to old industry and ways. The next step of the project would be to create pieces which explore themes like belonging and climate change with specific groups. "Rubbish Art" Started in 2019 as a mission to turn unloved waste into lovely items.

"Rubbish Art" started in 2019 the project began in the face of a growing mountain of garage materials and the waste people would bring me.

"Rubbish Art" started in 2019 the project's 2021 manifestation saw me using the smaller pile of waste I currently have with me and a selection of my doodles.
